Kelly Hogan, DVM is the owner and sole veterinarian at Premier Pet Care. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia and has over 14 years of veterinary experience in small animal general practice. Dr. Hogan is a member of the Greater St. Louis Veterinary Medical Association. She also previously designed and taught at a veterinary technician program for 2 years.
She shares her home with her 3 dogs: Ruger Allen, Lana Banana, and Henry Wrinkler as well as at cat with cerebellar hypoplasia named Groot and her husband.
Yes! I’m a solo practitioner which means I’m the only vet in the practice. Rarely, I may have a relief vet come in and cover if I’m out of town but, in general, you’re stuck with me. 🙂
You just never know what combination of hair color or glasses I’ll be sporting so sometimes I’m incognito.Â
Of course, I love them both! I tend to gravitate to a beefy bully breed dog, though.Â

There are so many movies that I’ll watch a million times over but I think my favorite might be Elf. It’s the perfect combination of Will Ferrell and Christmas. Christmas is my favorite holiday!Â
I’m a sucker for crafts of any sort but I’m currently obsessed with making glitter tumblers. I have WAY too much glitter at home and it drives my husband crazy because it gets everywhere. It’s so zen to put some glitter on a cup and watch it sparkle as it turns and the resin dries.Â
